I went out this morning just to run back in and grab my camera. Moments of beauty are rare in this cold and dark season, so I had to set down some of that natural splendor.
Scroll to the all the way down for my favorite picture, if you’re feeling impatient.
Somehow the frost makes everything look more elegant.
All the colors are muted.
Some contrasts seem enhanced, though.
Frosted red leaves are so beautiful.
These berries are called common snowberries (Schneebeere in German), which I didn’t know until I googled it just now. They really are common, but I haven’t seen any in a while.
Even the nettle has lost its sting.
The best for last. Frozen spiderweb!
Beautiful photos
